Ian & Rachel

Ian & Rachel's wedding is one I won't soon forget. Simply because... it was amazing. I left feeling like, "Wow, this couple gets it."

Ian & Rachel had a beautiful "getting ready" location at the Kankakee Riverview Guesthouse. It was beautiful inside and out. I loved the front porch and luckily it was just overcast enough that it made for some beautiful lighting. Rachel's dress is a custom creation by her bridesmaid, Holly Mericle. It was gorgeous!

Their wedding was located at Rachel's grandparents home in Manteno, IL. It was the epitome of everyone's dream farm home. The white house held so much character that I couldn't wait to photograph at it.

Their wedding was delayed an hour and 1/2 but Rachel nor Ian seemed to mind, they took that time as an opportunity to socialize with their guest. It was really neat working with a couple that just values their friends and family so much. They never got stressed or anxious It was evident these people are the real deal and have their priorities straight!

After their wedding, Rachel and Ian hosted a get together at Kankakee's FEED art and cultural center. We were able to take some really fun photos there. I am so happy for these 2 and it was a blast working with them!
